2005 Suzette

Price: Sold Out

This fruity dry Rosé is a blend of Zinfandel and Merlot, just slightly sweet but not like a white Zin. Left on the skins a little longer than previous vintages it has a nice deep rose color.

A French style Rosé, this wine was barrel fermented; lees aged, and bottled young to preserve its great fresh fruity nose. It starts with a nose of tropical fruits and floral aromas, followed by flavors of strawberry and ripe raspberries; it has a nice clean finish.
This is a great wine for appetizers, light meals, or just to enjoy on a warm summer day. Try it with a salad of fresh greens and goat cheese, sushi, a plate of mussels and clams, or your favorite hors d’Oeuvres. Serve slightly chilled.

This interesting wine is a club release only.
