This wine has lay down potential and will improve for a year or more, it could keep for 5 or so years but who wants to wait. This wine starts with a very pleasant nose with a hint of mint, the entry burst with flavors followed by a nice complex middle with smoky overtones and the finish lingers with mocha. 2003 Nouveau

Price: Sold Out

This interesting wine was made from 100% Merlot grapes using a modified version of a process call ‘Carbonic Maceration’. Our process uses a method of fermenting the half of the grapes as whole berries and remainder as normal crushed grapes. We only fermented on the ‘skins’ for about half of the fermentation and then pressed and completed the fermentation in neutral barrels. The result was a fruity well balanced wine with a creamy smooth finish.

Pair this wine with almost any food you would drink a premium red wine with. It drinks well by itself, with appetizers, or with lighter food dishes.

Not made in a style for aging this wine is ready to drink and will go with a wide range of foods. This would make a great by the glass wine.
