This wine starts off with a nice nose, continues with a nice spicy entry, complex mid palate with berry, mocha and licorice, and concludes with a lingering finish that’s simply says lets have some more. A little tannin at the back of the tongue suggests this wine will hold up for a few years and will no doubt improve with age. A great Zin loaded with Zin character.

2003 Zinfandel

A mostly Zinfandel blend with 2.5% Petite Syrah mixed in to give it a little backbone. This is a slightly jammy, fruity Zin with a nice lingering finish and a nose full of fruit aromas. A little tannin at the back of the tongue suggests this wine will hold up for a few years and will no doubt improve with age.

Pair this wine with almost any food you would drink a premium red wine with. Try it with a nice rack of lamb or a Mediterranean dish.
